“This significant investment will further support our efforts to respond swiftly and efficiently to any emergency situation that may arise, and we are grateful to our team and partners for making this possible.”
Located on the east side of the airfield, the ARFF building is adjacent to the Airport Operations Center to facilitate efficient communication and coordination between teams during emergency events. The facility will also serve as a hub for training and supporting the Ford International Airport’s mutual aid partners.
The project was funded through a combination of federal and state grants and general Airport revenues.
