Billboard Hunt

To be entered to win prizes, participants must be 18 years or older at time of entry. Participants must download and sign up for a Goosechase account via their smartphone, use code “GRR2024” to enter the Contest, and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

To be eligible for prizes, participants must complete missions and earn points during the Contest live period: 8:00am January 22, 2024 through 10:00PM February 18, 2024. Missions are completed by uploading user-taken photos via the Goosechase app. Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority reserves the right to disqualify any participant that takes and uploads images that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially or ethnically objectionable, encourages criminal behavior, gives rise to civil liability, violates any law, or is otherwise objectionable.

One (1) first-tier winner will be chosen. The winner is EITHER the first participant to complete all 30 missions and earn 300 points within the Contest period OR the participant with the highest number of points (10-300) at the end of the Contest period. The one first prize winner will be awarded a $300 flight voucher from/to Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) to be used by December 31, 2025, Destination Collection t-shirt and hoodie, Airport concessions gift basket (valued over $100), and GRR Socks.

Three (3) second tier winners will be chosen. The winner(s) will be participants at the end of the Contest with the second highest number of points (10-300). The second-tier winners will be awarded a Destination Collection t-shirt and hoodie, a $25 gift card to the GRR online store, a GRR branded sherpa blanket, and GRR socks.

Five (5) third tier winners will be chosen. The winner(s) will be participants at the end of the Contest with the third highest number of points (10-300). The third-tier winners will be awarded a Destination Collection sticker, a $10 gift card to the GRR online store, and GRR socks.

Fourth tier winners will be chosen based on total number of points at the end of the Contest, and will be awarded GRR socks while supplies last.

If there are more qualifying participants based on total points in any tier than the total number of prizes awarded, all qualifying participants will be entered into a raffle and appropriate number of winners randomly drawn for each tier.

Winners will be notified that they've won and what tier winner they are, through Goosechase and via e-mail. Winners must claim their prizes in-person at Gerald R. Ford International Airport, 5500 44th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512. If an entrant selected as the winner cannot be reached within 10 days, is found to be ineligible, or otherwise fails to comply with these official rules, that entrant shall be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected.

1. Eligibility. Must be 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry and a legal resident of Michigan. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest is not open to employees, directors, or officers of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority ("Airport Authority"), or members of their immediate families which include the following: spouse, child, father, mother, brother, sister, grandparent, stepparents, stepchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, and grandparents-in-law. Participation in the Contest constitutes agreement to comply with these Contest Rules.
2. Entry. Download Goosechase, a mobile application, from the app store on your smartphone ("Goosechase"). After creating an account, use the code "GRR2024" to access the Contest, and follow the instructions to electronically complete and submit entries for points. Visit grr.org/jointhehunt to learn more about instructions and conditions, any violations of which may subject an applicant to disqualification from the Contest, to be determined in Airport Authority's sole discretion. Airport Authority disclaims all liability associated with use of Goosechase. Limit one entry per person. Subsequent entries from the same person will be deleted. Individuals using multiple identities, automated entry systems, or any other method to circumvent these rules will be ineligible and excluded.
3. Contest Period. Contest runs from 8:00 AM EST on January 22, 2024, through 10:00 PM EST on February 18, 2024 (the "Contest Period"). Entries must be received no later than 10:00 PM EST on February 18, 2024.

4. Selection of Winners and Prizes. The top winner will be chosen based on total number of points and date of submission and will receive one large prize package. Eligible participants will also be chosen as second, third, and fourth tier winners with additional prizes, as further explained below.

   Tier 1: 1 Winner Selected

   • $300 flight voucher from/to Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) to be used by December 31, 2025;
   • Destination t-shirt and hoodie;
   • Airport concessions gift basket (valued over $100); and
   • GRR socks.

   Tier 2: 3 Winners Selected

   • Destination t-shirt and hoodie;
   • $25 gift card to online store;
   • GRR socks; and
   • GRR sherpa blanket.

   Tier 3: 5 Winners Selected

   • GRR socks;
   • Destination collection sticker; and
   • $10 gift card to online store.

   Tier 4: While Supplies Last

   • GRR socks.

   Only one prize per person. Winners will be notified that they've won and what tier winner they are, through Goosechase and via e-mail. If a person has already been awarded a prize, the next eligible participant will be chosen as an alternate. If a participant that is selected as a winner cannot be reached within 10 days, is found to be ineligible, does not come to Airport Authority's physical location to collect the prize, or otherwise fails to comply with these official rules, that participant shall be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected. Airport Authority reserves the right to substitute any or all of the prizes with cash or other items of approximately comparable or greater value, at Airport Authority's discretion. The prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and not redeemable for credit or merchandise.

5. Additional Conditions for Tier 1 Prize. The Tier 1 winner must depart from GRR and return to GRR and must have used the flight voucher by December 31, 2025. The winner will not be reimbursed if the flight is over or under the paid amount. For example, if the total for the flight is $189.92, the winner will only be reimbursed for that amount. The Airport Authority is not responsible for flight cancellations, weather conditions or accommodation requests or any other circumstance beyond its control, or for inability of winner to travel in accordance with these official rules. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein, including, but not limited to, additional meals, gas, parking fees, insurance, tolls, beverages, activities, incidental hotel expenses, taxes and/or gratuities are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner is responsible (at his/her/their expense) for ensuring that he/she/they have a valid required travel documentation (e.g., a valid U.S. government issued passport, or a valid state-issued driver’s license or Real ID-compliant license or ID, as applicable). Winner understands that there are inherent risks involved in travel and that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip. The winner must comply with all airline and security requirements.
   
   
6. Privacy. Participation in this Contest constitutes consent to Airport Authority's use, for all lawful purposes, of any and all information provided on the Contest ticket, including e-mail communications from Airport Authority during the Contest and after the Contest concludes. Participants may "opt out" of this consent by providing written notice to Airport Authority or by unsubscribing from e-mail communications. Airport Authority will not share information received with any third-party vendors. Participants should be vigilant regarding any unsolicited messages related to their participation in the GRReat Billboard Hunt. Participants should report any suspicious activity to gfiainfo@grr.org.
7. Consent and Agreement to Rules. Participation in this Contest constitutes consent by any participants to Airport Authority's perpetual, royalty-free use and display of the participant's name and photographic likeness in connection with Airport Authority's marketing and public communications. By accepting the prize, participant grants Airport Authority a royalty-free license to publish the participant's name on Airport Authority's various social media platforms. By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. Entrants agree Airport Authority has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this Contest and that its decision is final and binding. ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE CONTEST.
8. Warranty. Airport Authority makes no warranty of any type or nature, express or implied, regarding the prizes. All prizes are awarded on an "as is" basis.
9. Construction. Airport Authority reserves the exclusive right to construe and interpret these Contest Rules in such reasonable manner as it deems appropriate, in its sole discretion. Airport Authority may disqualify any participant from participating in the Contest if Airport Authority deems there to have been any attempt by the person to tamper with the drawing or selection process, or to have otherwise violated any of the rules of this Contest.
10. Waiver of Liability. Participants, by submission of their entries, agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Airport Authority, its affiliates, and each of their employees, representatives, contractors, sponsors and advertisers, from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs or claims related to any allegation regarding the Contest itself, and as it relates to Contest winners, award of, the receipt of, or the use of their prize. Airport Authority is not responsible for personal injury of any prize winner incurred in connection with the use of their prize. Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to receiving their prize. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, X, Instagram and any other social media platform. Each participant is partaking in the Contest at their own risk. Airport Authority strictly prohibits taking pictures of the billboards while operating a vehicle and participants warrant and agree that they will obey applicable laws and regulations at all times while collecting photos for Contest entry submission. All participants forever release and hold harmless Airport Authority, Facebook, X, Instagram and any other social media platform and their respective affiliated persons from any liability or claims made by such entrant or prize winner in any way related to participation in this Contest.
11. Governing Law. Contest rules shall be governed and enforced pursuant to Michigan law, excluding choice of law provisions, and is subject to all applicable federal, stated, and local laws and regulations.
