Ford Airport Director Receives Special Tribute

At its November 16, 2011 meeting, the Michigan Aeronautics Commission honored James Koslosky, A.A.E., executive director of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport, with a Special Tribute. Koslosky, who has served as executive director of Ford International since March 1991, has announced his retirement, effective January 1, 2012.

The Special Tribute presented to Koslosky read, in part, “The Michigan Aeronautics Commission does hereby offer this Special Tribute to honor the many years of service, advice and special friendship Mr. James A. Koslosky has provided this Commission, his peers and the citizens of his community and state through the advancement of aeronautics in the State of Michigan.”

This is not the first time the Aeronautics Commission has recognized Koslosky’s contributions to the aviation industry, having previously honored him with the Commission’s Award of Excellence.
