Please share with us a little bit about you and your company:
Since 1919, Egan has been the mechanical contractor that West Michigan construction managers and building owners depend on for the highest quality work.
Where is your company headquartered?
Egan's headquarters is in Grand Rapids, with additional offices in Kalamazoo, Muskegon and St. Joseph-Benton Harbor.
How many people work at your company?
As the mechanical contractor for the ConRAC project, Egan has constructed the underground piping, along with storm and sanitary lines for the parking ramp. Our scope also includes the mechanical piping for the car wash and fueling stations that will be part of the Quick Turn-Around facility.
How is your company supporting the ConRAC project?
We take pride in building a highly skilled, experienced team that stays with Egan for the long term. Our employees have been with us for 10 years on average, and we believe that's because we're consistently ranked one of West Michigan's best employers. Our team brings this experience to every project - including the airport - so that owners can rest assured that they're getting the highest quality work from a top-tier crew.
What are some of the specialized skills that you and your team has enjoyed bringing to this project?
The airport's expansion is a key factor in continuing to grow the region as a whole. It's a great feeling to know that Egan's work here will reach far beyond this project.
What is one fun fact about your company?
Egan celebrated its 100th birthday in 2019! We're proud to have been contributing to the West Michigan community for more than a century, and we've been working in many of the area's most well-known buildings for decades, including the airport.
