Baker Concrete Construction is the nation's leading commercial concrete construction contractor. Our drive is to perform safer, smarter, better, and faster.

Where is your company headquartered?

Monroe, OH

How many people work at your company?

Baker has over 7,000 employees nationwide and just over 100 employees here in Michigan.

How is your company supporting the ConRAC project?

Baker is providing all the site concrete as well as the concrete blast wall.

What are some of the specialized skills that you and your team has enjoyed bringing to this project?

Baker’s highly technical and skilled labor force safely assembled, rigged, and braced a gang form system before placing 140 cubic yards of concrete to create a 21’-6” tall concrete blast wall. We love the challenge that tall concrete walls bring, we take pride in our safety driven approach and the quality of our workmanship.

What is one fun fact about your company?

We were the first concrete contractor to implement a national safety program. Our Incident and Injury Free philosophy still guides us today.
