Grand Rapids, Mich. – Frontier Airlines is returning to Grand Rapids (GRR), the airline announced today.

Frontier, headquartered in Denver, will be serving the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GFIA) with four weekly nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO) on an Airbus A320 family aircraft, along with service to Denver International Airport (DEN). The Orlando service is scheduled weekly for departures on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The service begins in December 2017. Frontier has not announced the start date for Denver, but the airline is expected to begin serving that route in Spring 2018.

“We are thrilled to welcome Frontier back into the Grand Rapids market,” said GFIA President & CEO Jim Gill. “Having another low cost carrier option to stimulate competition and offer even more nonstop service is a welcome addition for our air service portfolio and our growing community.”
