GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., October 19, 2026 – Guests traveling through the Gerald R. Ford International Airport now have a new option for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the opening of Tacos Locos, a quick-service Mexican-inspired restaurant located across from the TSA checkpoint.
The new concept is being introduced in partnership with HMSHost, one of the Airport’s food and beverage concessions partners that operates several restaurants throughout the concourses. Created by HMSHost, Tacos Locos brings a modern twist to the traditional taqueria, featuring fresh, flavorful Mexican-inspired fare designed to provide travelers with a convenient, high-quality dining experience while on the go.
Delicious and unique breakfast is available until 10:30 a.m., with options including breakfast tacos, breakfast burritos and huevos. Throughout the day, travelers can choose from street tacos, burritos, bolos, taco salad bowls and other Mexican-inspired favorites.
“Today’s travelers are looking for dining options that are both convenient and memorable, and Tacos Locos delivers on both,” said Bryan Loden, VP of Business Development, HMSHost. “By bringing fresh ingredients and bold Mexican-inspired flavors to Gerald R. Ford International Airport, we are creating another opportunity for travelers to enjoy a high-quality culinary experience. We’re proud to partner with the airport to continue elevating the travel journey through innovative food and beverage offerings.”
“Tacos Locos adds another unique dining option for our guests and continues our partnership with HMSHost to create a mix of food and beverage experiences throughout the terminal,” said Carlos Ruiz, Chief Commercial Officer of the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority. “We’re always looking for ways to make the travel experience stand out, and having a variety of dining options is an important part of that.”
